Residential FAQ’S

Who will be in my home? Courteous, professional and well trained cleaning crews of one or two people. Wendi’s Cleaning Service staff is insured and bonded and will arrive at your home in a Wendi’s Van, wearing a Wendi’s uniform. Our cleaning supervisor will be making regular inspections of your home as well.

Will anyone smoke in or around my home? No, Wendi’s Cleaning Service has a non-smoking policy that is strictly enforced.

Do I need to provide anything? We provide all cleaning equipment and supplies. You need to provide replacement trash bags and any special cleaning supplies you specifically request (please leave out on kitchen counter).

How will I know when to expect my cleaning? Residential cleanings are scheduled during the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Scheduled Clients will have an assigned day once their agreement is signed. When there are changes in the schedule for any reason we will call you as soon as possible.

Are you insured and bonded? Yes.

Do I need to be home? No, it is not necessary that you be home as long as we have access to your home. The most convenient and safest method is for us to have a key or alarm code to your home so we can secure your property when we leave.

What about my pets? Generally, you may leave them free in the home if that's what you normally do. Sometimes, however, pets become anxious when strangers are in their home without their master, it is usually best to confine those pets to an area where they will be comfortable.

How do I make payment? Payment is due upon completion of your cleaning. We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.

Will I have the same cleaning crew? We will make every effort to have one of the same crew clean your home; however, we provide training to each of our staff to ensure consistent cleaning throughout Wendi’s crew.

Do I have to tip the crew? Tipping is totally at your discretion and never expected or required. While someone having a special one-time cleaning may choose to offer a tip in appreciation of great service, our regular clients usually wait until the holidays to give an annual gratuity.

Can I skip or reschedule a cleaning? Yes, with a 2 day notice.

Do I have to sign a contract? A contractual contract is not required, but we do ask you sign a Payment and Schedule Agreement to secure your cleaning day.

How much will it cost? The cost of our service varies depending on size, condition of home and the frequency of the cleanings scheduled.

What if I need something special? We will customize your cleanings to meet your individual needs. Call the office to talk with a knowledgeable staff member to discuss your cleaning requirements.

What if I am not happy with the cleaning? If you are not completely satisfied with a certain area of your home, call us within 24 hours of our service and we will gladly re-clean the area.
